It has been 24 years since the last time I endorsed a Democrat for President of the United States. Ironically with the same family name – Clinton. Republican’s conservative economic policy and their undoubted anti-communist views always resonate better with my personal beliefs.

For example in East Europe, George W. Bush is considered a strong advocate for NATO enlargement and, as a result, countries like Bulgaria, Albania and Croatia became members of the Aliance. Therefore, there are streets named after him in these countries. Another republican, John McCain, is a hero for most Bulgarians because of his personal involvement on the side of the anti-communist opposition during our first elections after the fall of the Berlin wall.

Now surprisingly for many who know me well, I am standing in front of you to publicly endorse Hillary Clinton for President of the United States of America!

“Together we are stronger!” This slogan is the key for our wellbeing. Only together, are we able to face the challenges of the contemporary time – terrorism, rising nationalism, poverty, climate change. Only together, will we defeat politicians who divide the American people and turn them against each other. It is easier to divide by taking advantage of somebody’s fears and frustration. To unite is difficult and only true leaders such as Hillary Clinton can achieve it!

This is the reason why “I am with her”! She is always at the side of the underprivilledged, of those in need. She treats everybody equally no matter of race, religion, gender or sexual orientation. It is time for America to have a woman president! Every great nation has elected a woman for the most powerful position in their country – Great Britain, Germany, India. If you want to “Make America great again”, vote for a woman to be the 45th President of the US!

Hillary Clinton deserves, more than anyone else, to become the first female President of the USA! Not just because she is the best qualified for this job. Mainly, because she is a good person. She knows how to listen to others and look for solutions; how to compromise and, when needed, how to take responsibility. I can add that she is the only candidate with strong anti-gun position. She understands that globalization is irreversable, and no walls or “negotiations” can change it. Hillary is trustworthy and respected all over the world and I am definitelly with her.

Let me take you back in history, some years ago when the world was rocked by the rising tention between Palestinians and Israel. At the same time, Serbia again shocked the international community with its autrocities, this time in Kosovo. The American president at that time was personally involved in the Middle East peace talks and, at the same time, was pressing the Serbian government to withdrow from Kosovo. On his way from Jordan to Kosovo, he stopped in the tiny former communist Bulgaria to encourage its people in their effords to establish a democratic society. Bill Clinton was the first president of the USA to ever visit Bulgaria. And he was kind enough to briefly speak and shake hands with each Bulgarian reporter who covered his short but historic visit. I will never forget this moment because I was one of those reporters. And I can’t wait to see another member of Clinton’s family in the Oval Office.

I am proud and happy to join a very prominent company of people like Warren Buffet, the founder and CEO of the Berkshire Hathaway, Eric Schmidt, the founder and CEO of Google and the basketball legend Magic Johnson and many many others who have publicly endorsed Hillary Clinton for President of the United States of America. We are all with her!
